The white cube once was a quite normal house with a roof. The owners wanted to take over the parent’s property, but not its esthetics. This led to a balancing act between cost efficiency and radical changes concerning form and function, tightened by the local building regulations. This resulted in a – quoting the owner – „Boutique-House“, a compact house with sophisticated details.
