The Traunstein is omnipresent in the Upper Austrian weekend home; it can be viewed from the large open living room on the ground floor as well as from the gallery and the master-bed-room in the attic. Also the general design of the building reflects the regional atmosphere with a pitched roof and a heavy chimney (to be used from the in- and outside). This strong monolithic shape is sensitively loosened with annexes like the veranda (a citation of the confederate-states favoured by the owners), the garage and the garden cabin.
